This special 'One-Off' version of the 04_100 is equipped with controls for managing the voicing and brilliance of the overdrive channel. In fact, the 800 series relay on a fixed internal brightness circuit, preset by the manufacturer, which is not always suitable for all uses. The 04_100 DSV removes this limitation by offering the possibility of adjusting the brilliance based on the musician's taste and the type of instrument used. Using the 'freq range' switch it is also possible to choose between three different frequencies for optimal fine tuning. Furthermore, unlike what happens in the original amplifier, the bright circuitry is completely independent from the gain control, thus allowing the voicing set by the user to be maintained at any operating level. With these simple measures, the overdrive channel becomes fully usable along its entire range, starting from the most moderate settings, up to the maximum (rather than limiting its success of use to a much narrower range). DSV stands for 'Dreamaker Smart Voicing'.
