A smartly designed preamp architecture, which avoids the use of non-adjustable internal pre-EQ filters, provides musicians with full control over the amplifier's voicing. The benefits include:

The PS technology integrated into the amplifier ensures it is always perfectly sized for the actual playing context. With full control over output power, it’s easy to achieve the Power Amp Distortion effect typical of the best classic rock 'n' roll tones. Moreover, the PS system significantly extends the life of the power tubes whenever full output is not required.
