ABOUT DREAMAKER AMPS

Dreamaker Amps is an Italian workshop established by Marco Ferrari in 2011, known for producing boutique amplifiers with a minimalist design and pure sound. Mastery, precision, and a wholly artisanal manufacturing process converge to create truly unique instruments. Among those who use Dreamaker amplifiers are artists such as Phil Palmer, Elisa Toffoli and Daniele Silvestri.

CRAFTMANSHIP
All Dreamaker amps are entirely handcrafted by me, one at the time, for a production capacity limited to a few pieces per year. The precision and attention to detail utilised to build these amplifiers is rather unique and difficult to find elsewhere.

MINIMALIST DESIGN

I consider this to be such a crucial aspect of the production process that I often lose track of the hours dedicated to it.

Building an amp by hand with all the attention mentioned above requires a processing time that is simply not comparable to that of an industrial product. The same applies to the cost of a selected component, compared to a standard one. Nonetheless, the price of a Dreamaker Amp is never too far from that of a well-made industrial amp. HERE ARE SOME TECHNICAL DETAILS THAT YOU WILL NOT EASILY FIND IN OTHER AMPLIFIERS:

	HAND-WIRED CIRCUIT Handwiring is the original technique used in tube amps and remains the most desirable method. It not only provides unsurpassed reliability and ease of service, but it also facilitates customizations. The process of handwiring an amp is an art in itself that requires skill, experience, and patience. Of course, not all amplifiers marketed today as 'hand-wired' are the same!
	HIGHLY SELECTED COMPONENTS Tubes, capacitors, resistors, potentiometers and all other electronic components used are carefully selected to ensure maximum sound performance and reliability.
	TOP GRADE TRANSFORMERS Allow for maximum power, bandwidth and dynamics even in the most extreme conditions. The transformers are the heart of a tube amplifier.
	STAR GROUNDING A proper grounding scheme it's essential if you want a quiet amp. The use of a star grounding scheme (or multiple star grounding for more complex circuits) allows for the best control over any unwanted noise.
	CHASSIS MOUNTED TUBE SOCKETS In most commercial amplifiers the tube sockets are soldered directly to the PCB, to save on production time and cost. In a guitar amplifier nothing can guarantee the same reliability as a chassis-mounted socket wired with individual cables.
	SMART LAYOUT Each component is meticulously positioned inside of the chassis to be directly accessible without having to disassemble other parts. To service an amplifier has never been easier.
	STAINLESS STEEL CHASSIS Extremely tough, rust and oxidation-proof. As with all things, starting with the right foot is essential.
	PANTOGRAPH ENGRAVED GRAPHICS Rather than using the common silk-screen printing technique, the graphics of Dreamaker amplifiers are pantograph engraved on anodized aluminum panels. No more peeling or faded letters.
	UNIQUE DESIGN Last but not least, Dreamaker amplifiers boast an elegant, unique and recognizable design.
