The 484ps is the last of the 'one-off' amplifiers made which precedes the release of the PPX2 model. The main differences are the front panel with smaller and closer knobs, the black western tolex and a slightly different fine tuning of the circuit. The amplifier was sold to a visitor passing by the laboratory before any official photos could be taken.
